Description

Operations with fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals as they relate to the machine trades. The topics covered are the basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Calculations involving exponents are also covered as well as the fundamentals of algebra found in the machine trades. Topics include using the principles of equality and rearranging formulas to solve common shop problems. Completion of the PTI 101 Workshop is encouraged.
