Description
Classroom theory on the operation of drill presses, band saws, bench grinders, and hand tools will be applied in the shop. Operations performed will include filing a block square, hacksaw use, precision hole layout, drill bit sharpening, drilling, and tapping. Classroom theory on the operation and setup of engine lathes will be applied in the shop. Operations will include turning, thread cutting, grooving, drilling, tapping, and the setup of four-jaw chucks and collets.
