Description
This course introduces the trucking industry, acquisition of the commercial driver’s license (CDL), types of endorsements, driver qualifications, driver disqualifications, interstate vs. intrastate, and regulation of the trucking industry. Topics include life on the road, customer relationships, medical requirements, hours of service, and size/weights. Upon completion, the student will be able to understand and describe the trucking industry rules and regulations, CDL action steps, industry regulations, and customer service.
