Description

This course is an introduction to the different types of commercial motor vehicles (CMV’s). Topics include systems such as powertrain, primary vehicle controls, air brakes, steering, suspension, axles, vehicle instruments, warning devices, trailer coupling methods, and trailer usage. Students learn about preventive maintenance, and how to identify potential problems.
