Description

An introduction to the structure and funciton of the human body utilizing a system approach. Emphasis placed on human anatomy as well as the physiology of the cell, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, digestive, lymphatic, special senses, and integumentary systems. Emphasis placed on the disease processes affecting the human body via an integrated approach to specific disease entities, including the study of causes, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.
