Description
This course will serve as a continuation of basic diagnostic coding and the characteristics and conventions of ICD-10-CM coding. A brief history of ICD-9 and the transition to ICD-10-CM will be covered. Studetns will analyze and discuss case studies using more complex code assignments with ICD-10-CM. This course will also provide some review in medical terminology and anatomy.
